If you are using a version of ESET that is currently too old (ESET 6.5, 6.6, or 7.0), the following problems are occurring or are likely to occur in the near future.

ESET 6.5.
Unsupported, the situation cannot be removed under normal circumstances.
ESET 6.6
After changes in the Windows OS specifications from 2021, the program may not work properly, the virus definition may not be updated, or other problems may occur.
Windows 10 October 2020 Update (20H2) – After applying the Windows Update on October 20, 2020, the system may become unstable.
ESET 7.0
After changes in the Windows OS specifications from 2021, the program may not work properly, the virus definition may not be updated, or other problems may occur.==

• How to check the ESET version.

1. Open ESET software.
2. See “Product version” on Help and Support menu.

If the version you are using is too old, please upgrade to the latest version by referring to a separate email notification.
Basically, you can just overwrite the installation.
