According to the announcement, the network services of Kyoto University will be suspended at the following period due to the renewal of the network hardware.

• [Date]:
  • August 16th, 2021  19:00 — 24:00 (Monday) – at all area
  • August 30th, 2021 18:30 – 22:00 (Monday) – at CSEAS area
• [Area]: Inamori Center, Library, and Common and East building.
• [Influence]: The Kyoto University network will be suspended.

As the work will be done in the evening and late at night, the impact will not be significant. However, please be aware that you may not be able to connect to online conferences, workshops, etc. from within the university during the above times. Other departments in Kyoto University will also experience temporary network outages on certain days.
