Dear all.
According to the announcement(KU network only) from the NANSEI area common administrative office, the power outage associated with the electric equipment check will be carried out in the following period.
- [Date]: 1st October, 2023 (Sun) 13:30 — 17:30
- [Place]: Inamori Center, East building, Common building, and Library.
- [Influence]:
1. Network connection of all-electric machines will be suspended in all Center’s rooms.
2. All power supplies of all-electric machines will be suspended in all Center’s rooms.
The power supply to all electronic equipment will be cut off.
Please turn off the power to printers, copiers, file servers, and other types of equipment that are always turned on before the power outage. In particular, power outages can cause overcurrents, which can result in system instability and equipment damage.
*The institute website and e-mail (CSEAS Gmail / @cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp) will not be affected by this effect.
