As you know, starting with the FY2025 Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI), the pledge of research integrity on e-Rad has become mandatory (not only for principal investigators but also for sub-investigators).

Kyoto University started the research integrity training (e-learning) in FY2024 (our summary page of the e-Learnings at Kyoto University). If the research integrity training has started at your university, please take it as well.
We have received some trouble inquiries about being unable to pledge well here, so we will summarize them.
How to pledge Research Integrity on the e-Rad system
- Access https://www.e-rad.go.jp/ and Log in to the system.
*Kyoto University members use the SPS-ID or ECS-ID for the login information. - In the upper right corner, select “Confirm and amend researcher details” from the pull-down menu in “Full Name”.
- Click on the “Main research institution” tab.
- Fill in “Status of research expenses outside e-Rad and status of notification to job titles and affiliated institutions” if you have obtained the relevant research expenses.
- Finally, check the “Reported” check box for the “Pledge status” item and click the “Register” button.
- Please view this page again and confirm that the “Pledge status history” item shows “Reported” as shown below.
