As previously announced, support for the Windows 10 OS will end on October 14, 2025.
After this date, support, including addressing security vulnerabilities, will no longer be available.

The use of unsupported operating systems and software increases the risk of unauthorized access with each passing day. Kyoto University also requests that you use a supported operating system that can address vulnerabilities. Therefore, if you are using a device running Windows 10, please consider upgrading to Windows 11 or updating to a newer model.
Note: The requirements for upgrading to Windows 11 are quite strict.
Although Windows 11 is provided free of charge, the security hardware requirements for upgrading are much stricter than before. As a result, many models will need to be replaced with newer models.
You can check whether your model meets the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11 by downloading and running the “PC Health Check App” at the end of the following website:
