[Mac Users] Support for the release of the new OS “macOS Tahoe 26”

Dear all

The new macOS for Mac, “macOS Tahoe 26″ was released on September 16, 2025(JST).

If you have installed the Center’s security software called “ESET” (SPS-ID holders only), you must upgrade to v9 before upgrading to the brand-new OS. Our testing in the Information Processing Office showed that the latest version of v8 (v8.1.200.0) still worked after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26. However, ESET’s official support begins with v9, so please upgrade to v9.

For details, please refer to the “PC” section of the applications for use page on the Information Processing Office.

Note: Version 9 is currently undergoing verification by the Information Processing Office. For terminals at our Center running ESET, please refrain from upgrading to macOS Thaoe 26 until further notice from the Information Processing Office.

Please remember that the latest ESET does not support macOS 10.15 Catalina or previous versions. If your Mac uses this older OS, you should upgrade to macOS Big Sur or later.

Your Mac cannot install the latest OS, in which case please upgrade to the most recent version possible.
