[Notice]: Upgrade Microsoft Office 2007 to new version!

Dear all, Support of Microsoft Office 2007 will be ended on 10th October, 2017. If Microsoft Office 2007 is installed in your PC, Please upgrade it. Software which support is terminated becomes a nest of illegal access Software which support is terminated won’t be supported even if the security vulnerability will be discovered. To keep the status is the large-scale threat for not only the Center but also Kyoto University. According to the information security policy of Kyoto University, we have a responsibility for doing the countermeasure for information security vulnerabilities. (Fixed) Trouble of Web sites and E-mail services.

Dear all, Web sites and E-mail services had been temporarily suspended during the period due to  the connection error between the servers and backup file server. Tentative Network Service Suspension

Dear all, According to the announcement of the media center, some network service will be temporarily suspended during the following period due to the network maintenance of Kyoto University. 1. Maintenance of Kyoto University network [Date]: 20th – 27th  December, 2016 (1 week) [Influence]: Basically, the network isn’t stopped by the maintenance, but the network services  will rarely be unstable during the period. Influenced services: Web browsing of outside of Kyoto University, VPN (IKEv2) connection,  Wi-Fi  (KUINS-Air | eduroam) . Users. * If you have SPS-ID, please ignore the following notice. If you have ECS-ID* (student, visiting scholar, affiliate faculty&researcher, and so on) except emeritus, please confirm the renewal procedure of ECS-ID. ECS-ID users have to do the renewal procedure every year at the media center of Kyoto University. The media center has been suspending ECS-ID since August every year. If you don’t do it, your ECS-ID was suspended, so you cannot use the common services of Kyoto University, such as Wi-Fi, Library online service, PPTP connection, and so on.
