Dear all, Windows Update does to fix the security and bugs for your Windows OS. The security patches have been being provided on second Tuesday once a month. Cannot complete Windows Update on Windows 7!

It was hard to solve the issue for a long time, but we could succeed to solve several issues, so I inform the information for an IT administrator. Run Disk Cleanup in Windows7 Restart Winodws7 Get a latest updater of Windows Update Client Stop some service on Windows7 (wuauserv, cryptSvc, bits, msiserver) Open the latest updater of Windows Update Client and apply it. Tentative Web and E-mail service suspension

Dear all. The Center’s main web sites and e-mail services will be temporarily suspended during the following period for the improvement of server system. If a sender sends a message to @cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp or the Center’s staff sends a message during the maintenance period by e-mail, the message will be sent after the maintenance is finished. [Notice]: Upgrade Microsoft Office 2007 to new version!

Dear all, Support of Microsoft Office 2007 will be ended on 10th October, 2017. If Microsoft Office 2007 is installed in your PC, Please upgrade it. Software which support is terminated becomes a nest of illegal access Software which support is terminated won’t be supported even if the security vulnerability will be discovered. To keep the status is the large-scale threat for not only the Center but also Kyoto University. According to the information security policy of Kyoto University, we have a responsibility for doing the countermeasure for information security vulnerabilities.
